Last Staedtlers of 2020

What will probably be my last mail of the year arrived, today from CultPens, with a bunch of new Staedtler supplies for my collection.

I have been hogging my husband’s old school drafting supplies for some geometric sketches I’ve been making recently, and finally got some of my own, this one super affordable in the Noris line.

I also got a set of artist pencils in the Tradition and Lumograph Black line.

The Blacks intrigue me for their higher carbon content and less shiny properties. I’m interested in how this will translate to eraser-friendliness.

This is especially true as I purchased some of these fancy eraser pencils as well as another stack of regular plastic erasers.

The eraser pencils look super exciting for the intricate geometric drawing I’ve been doing lately, where a typical eraser removal of a small mistake can result in hours of reconstruction in the surrounding spots. I’ve been tempted to investigate electric erasers for this reason…

The rest of the photos here just show off the rest of my Staedtler collection. They sure make excellent stuff.
