Aurora Style Pen

A recent visit to Pen Chalet resulted in obtaining an Aurora Style pen, in a lovely muted blue. I loved the simple design and rose-gold accents.

A mistake of my browsing meant I received the pen without a converter. A quick search indicated that Aurora uses a proprietary cartridge and converter, but I experimented with the various converters in my accumulation, and found that my Lamy converter fit well, and filled with no leaks, but the small “keys” on Lamy’s snap-fit converter got in the way of easy closure, so I had to sand these off in advance of using the pen.

The pen wrote smooth and light, with a wet and consistent ink flow. It’s one of the most comfortable pens I’ve ever used, a perfect size and shape for my grip, and a combination of solid build and light weight.

I’m very happy with this pen and highly recommend it!
